Been going there since I was 17. Now 53 . Love these guys with an awesome burger place. One of the Whitbys greatest treasured originals! Don't pass up a great burger plus plus.!!! I personally love the chicken finger on a bun. And the staff are extremely friendly with a clean environment. Can say much more but ,you Gotta Eat Here! K
Great burgers, fries, rings and poutine! One of the best burger places we have been in Whitby. Ordered for take out and brought home. Everyone enjoyed their food and we’ll be back!
My absolute favourite family owned burger place in the world! Great food, great service, great people! Nothing better than grabbing a fresh, homemade 8oz burger, handmade onion rings, and a pint on the patio on a nice sunny day! 10/10 will always recommend!
We decided to try out this older place that we haven't tried before. The staff was super friendly and helpful, the place was clean, tidy and well lit. They even had a star on the ceiling see pictures. The place was busy and a steady stream of customers but still seating was available. The food and drinks were fantastic, they even catered to children. See pictures!!
Good local burger place in Whitby. I really love the burgers, but for me I feel like their hot dogs are the best! Their poutines are delicious when fresh but gets a bit stale when it’s already reheated. Great portions though. The milkshake is very good and tastes classic/authentic but I think it is a bit pricey— keeping their stated description of the content in mind. On the other hand, I think the prices of the meals are justifiable and we should support local. Average wait time is less than 10 mins or more depending on customers. Kind staff and a spacious place to hangout. Plenty of parking spaces and easily accessible via public transit.
Loved this place. The first patio of season. Saw another couple there so stoped in first visit to this restaurant. Pleasantly surprised to see this place on our way to walk bit stoped for a bite before. We a great cheeseburger choose all the fixing stuffed it hot peppers and all. We Loved it. Fresh and tasty. Local is great. Meat paddy good size for us smaller but you can upsize it. Had the sweet potato fires and loved them with the dipping sauce. They have a great menu. Prices are a little high but you are getting quality. Not sure if they are farm to table but it tastes like it Coming into the restaurant you smell the authentic bbq smells. Loved this to start the season. Enjoyed the local beer and had fun go kick off spring. Loved seeing old pics of history for family. Supper place. Will come back and choose other items chicken on a bun the salads, Other burgers looked good. Everyone enjoying what they were eating.
Awesome burgers, fries, and especially onion rings. Totally awesome service from Alissa and her team. Clean, open kitchen, nice seating area. Best of all was the milkshakes, hand made, thick and Kawartha Dairy ice cream......wow!!!! We’ll be back...again and again, might buy a house nearby so we’re closer. Worth the drive.
I've been looking for a great burger ever since arriving in Durham 2 years ago. I have found it!!! STARR burgers easily lives up to its reputation. My suster-in-law from Scotland wants a "real" North Amrican hamburger and this place will satisfy that bucket list item.
